Privacy Policy

This policy explains how we process your personal data when you use the Staige mobile app (Staige One and Staige Pro), the staige.one and staige.pro websites and related services (the "Services"). It serves as a privacy notice under Turkey's Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK") and also follows the principles of the EU General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR") for users accessing the Services from the European Economic Area.

2. What data we process

Account information: name, email address, password (stored encrypted), and the basic profile information shared by Apple or Google when you sign in with them.

Early access list: the email address you leave in the form on our websites.

Scripts and text: the scripts you upload as PDF, Word, photo or text, and the text, character and scene information extracted from them.

Audio and video recordings: the videos, photos and audio you record during rehearsal, audition and slate sessions. In Staige Pro, your voice is processed during a live scene to generate a real-time response.

Slate information: professional profile details you enter yourself, such as age, height, weight, size, eye and hair color, city and agency, together with your full-body, profile and hand photos.

Purchase information: subscription and package type, credit and minute balance, transaction date. Your card details never reach Staige; payments are processed by the App Store, Google Play or, for web payments, the payment provider.

Usage and device information: app version, device model, operating system, language, error logs and general statistics on how often features are used.

Support correspondence: the information you share when you write to us.

Images of your face, voice and body are not used for biometric identification. Framing and pose checks are performed only to help you capture the shot correctly.

3. Device permissions

The app asks for a permission only when you use the related feature: camera (self-tapes and slates), microphone (recording, memorizing and live scenes), speech recognition (checking whether you said your line correctly), photos and files (uploading scripts, saving recordings), notifications (rehearsal reminders). You can turn permissions off at any time in your device settings; the related feature will then stop working.

4. Why we process your data

• To create and manage your account.
• To analyze your script, separate the characters and generate the other characters' voices.
• To let you create, edit, store and export rehearsal, audition and slate recordings.
• To generate live responses to your performance in Staige Pro.
• To manage subscriptions, credits and minute packages.
• To keep you informed about early access and product updates (if you agreed).
• To keep the Services secure, detect misuse and errors, and improve the Services.
• To comply with legal obligations.

5. Legal bases

We process your data under KVKK Article 5 and GDPR Article 6 on the following bases: performance of a contract (providing the Services), legal obligation (invoicing, record keeping), legitimate interests (security, troubleshooting, product development) and consent (marketing messages and, where required, international transfers).

Your scripts and recordings are never used to train AI models. We process them only to provide the Services to you.

6. Who we share data with

We do not sell your data. We share it only as needed to provide the Services, with the following categories of service providers: - Hosting and database providers (storing accounts, files and recordings). - AI text analysis providers (script analysis). - Speech synthesis and live voice providers (generating the other characters' voices and live responses in Staige Pro). - Subscription management and payment providers, as well as the Apple App Store and Google Play. - Email delivery and form services (early access list, notifications). - Error reporting and usage analytics services.

These providers process data only on our instructions and for the purpose of the Services. You can request the current list of providers at info@staige.pro.

We may also disclose personal data: - When required by law: in response to a valid request from a court or another competent public authority. - To protect rights and safety: where necessary to prevent fraud or misuse, to protect the security of the Services, or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. - In a business transfer: if Staige is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, your data may be transferred to the new owner. We will notify you before your data becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

7. International transfers

Some of our service providers have servers outside Turkey, including in the United States and the European Union. These transfers are made in line with KVKK Article 9 and, where applicable, the GDPR, using standard contractual safeguards or, where required, your explicit consent.

8. Retention

• Account information: for as long as your account is open.
• Scripts, recordings and slate materials: until you delete them or close your account.
• Staige Pro live scene audio: processed in real time to generate a response and not stored unless you record the scene.
• Purchase records: for the period required by tax and commercial law.
• When you delete your account, your data is deleted or anonymized within 30 days; removal from backups takes no longer than 120 days. Backups are encrypted and are not restored except for security, disaster recovery or legal compliance.
• We may keep certain data longer only where the law requires it or where it is needed to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

9. Security

Data is encrypted in transit and access to stored data is restricted. No system is completely secure; if a breach occurs, we will notify you and the relevant authority as required by law.

10. Your rights

Under KVKK Article 11 and the GDPR, you have the right to know whether your data is processed, to request information, to have your data corrected, deleted or transferred, to object to processing and to withdraw your consent. You can delete your account and all your data in the app under Settings › Delete account. For other requests, write to info@staige.pro; we respond within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority or, if you are in the EEA, to your local data protection authority.

11. Children

The Services are not designed for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. Users aged 13 to 18 should use the Services with the consent of a parent or legal guardian. Where the law of your country sets a higher age for consenting to the processing of personal data (in some EEA countries up to 16), we require the consent of a parent or guardian below that age. If you believe we have processed a child's data without permission, let us know and we will delete it.

12. Cookies

staige.one and staige.pro use only the technical cookies needed for the sites to work. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. If this changes, we will ask for your consent first.

13. Links to other websites

The Services may contain links to websites we do not operate. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices; please review their privacy policies.

14. Additional information for users in the EEA and the UK

• Your rights: in addition to the rights in Section 10, you have the right to restrict processing, to receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format (data portability) and to object at any time to processing based on our legitimate interests or for direct marketing.
• Consent: where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. This does not affect processing carried out before the withdrawal.
• Automated decisions: we do not make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you based solely on automated processing.
• Complaints: you can lodge a complaint with the data protection authority of the country where you live or work, or where an alleged infringement took place.

15. Additional information for California residents (CCPA/CPRA)

Categories of personal information we collect: identifiers (name, email address, account ID); commercial information (subscription and purchase records); audio, electronic and visual information (recordings and photos you create); internet and device activity (app usage, device information, error logs); and professional information you enter in your slate. We collect this information from you, from your device, and from Apple or Google when you sign in with them. We use it for the purposes described in Section 4 and disclose it to the categories of service providers described in Section 6.

No sale or sharing: we do not sell your personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we have not done so in the past 12 months. We do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you.

Your rights: you have the right to know what personal information we collect, use and disclose; to request deletion; to request correction of inaccurate information; and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. To make a request, write to info@staige.pro. We will verify your request using the information associated with your account and respond within 45 days. You may use an authorized agent; we may ask for proof of the agent's authority.

16. Do Not Track (CalOPPA)

We do not track users across third-party websites over time, and we do not allow third parties to do so through the Services. For this reason, the Services do not respond differently to "Do Not Track" browser signals. You can review and change the personal information in your account at any time in the app settings.

17. Changes

We may update this policy. We will announce significant changes in the app or by email before they take effect and update the "Last updated" date at the top. The current version is always available on this page.
